Loyalty Program: Customer Service System |
Manages the Preference Card system to build customer loyalty. These are the programs that reward customers for purchases with point, similar to the airlines’ programs which award miles to customers. This system is installed in the customer service department of two national retail chains. Each system maintains information about (at this writing) over two million customers (and growing). |
Pharmacy Customer Communication |
Automated mail and eMail communication to pharmacy customers. The purpose was twofold: First – to fulfill legal requirements of communication about prescription pharmaceuticals. Second was to build customer loyalty and ensure that refills, renewals and subsequent prescriptions happened in client stores. |

Managing the State’s capital budgeting process. Proposed projects and their progress through the Legislature. We did overall system design, some development, and training of the in-house programmer (who did the bulk of the development and maintenance). |

This project creates and prints purchase orders, as well as analyzes purchasing statistics for this agency. The project is unusual in that I designed it with an open architecture.
